If you have these symptoms of insomnia, it is important that you consult with a doctor or most preferably, a sleep specialist. But, you should not to ask for a drug prescription that will help to induce unnatural sleep, but request for their expertise in addressing insomnia from its root causes and help you win the quest for a restorative night’s sleep.

Furthermore, if you are in the habit of drinking alcoholic drinks a few hours before bedtime, smoking heavily and taking caffeinated drinks like soft drinks, coffee, and tea during the day, you also face high probability of insomnia.

In addition, people who have are into successive vigorous activity every day may have difficulty falling asleep at night because of increased levels of adrenaline.

* Medical conditions (mental, physical, physiological, psychological) – people afflicted with certain medical conditions have trouble falling asleep and sleeping soundly.

Meanwhile, some prescribed medicine preparations or over-the-counter drugs being taken to combat these medical conditions have side effects that usually involve sleeplessness or disruptive sleep.

* Environmental conditions – exposure to too much light, incessant noise, variations in temperature and location, noisy or restless bed partners are also additional factors that can undermine your quest to a good night’s sleep.

wat kind of sleeping disorder causes talkin in your sleep with your eyese open ans with full sentances and gestures…becuase my husband’s ( we’r newly wedds) roommates (bescuase we’r & still in college) informed me of him talking in his sleep & being able to hold full converstions with mhim as if he was awake & he wud also be making hand gestures such as pointing or shrugging & even giving the finger…as he & his frends & roommates usually do for jokes…but just until the other night while he was home for a visit while we wer sleeping he usually just snored & just slight jumble up mumble is wat he’d do…but this time he actually had his eyes open talking to me about a car that had chrome lineing on it & was pointing to where the lineing was supposed to be & even tried to tell me where & how to turn so i’d see it in the “sun” & then wen I tryed to wake him up he believed that he had been awake the whole time & that I was telling him to wake up for no reason..& then got mad at me as if I had been sayin this to him for a long amount of minutes or that I was dilousional myself & then he had no rememberance of wat he was dreaming about

Well there is a disease called as Somnambulism (sleep walking) in which a person walks and talks in sleep. But it seem as if your husbands friend is just messing with you. In sleepwalking you could find people talking and behaving as if they were awake.

Mostly people in their state of sleep walking have loss of Natural Grace fullness and emotions. because of the fact your friend got Angry I think he is acting out.

Maybe he’s up-to something. Maybe trying to use the cloak of Sleep walking to do something socially unacceptable. Be Aware !!

Sleepwalking is usually repetitive although many times complex behavior have been observed. This should be you second clue. A person talking about the chrome and other things that require the Limbic System (creative processing) is mostly NOT sleep walking.

Even if he is sleep walking it could be dangerous, if it involves activities like cooking, driving ,etc. Some people have also committed sexual and acts of Violence (homicide) while sleep walking.

Use a smaller bowl or a smaller plates when you eat which will prevent possible snoring. When you are watching television, you tend to eat more because you are focused more on the television show more than the foods that you are eating thus, your stomach does not digest in a regular manner since your mind is not focused on what you you are eating as a result of being are more focused on watching that idiot box. Cut your food into tiny pieces before eating them to avoid snoring.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE SNORING SEVERELY?If possible,every night just before going to bed, try to clear your nasal passages with nasal spray or salinase to ease stuffiness which will prevent you from snoring. One of the most important ways to stop snoring is to try to lose more weight. At first it may feel uncomfortable to sleep on your side, but soon enough your body will get accustomed to it and will soon stop smoking. Medicines can help prevent snoring as well, but be careful of what medicines you take, what you eat, and monitor your lifestyle activities that can affect you extremely.

Some antidepressants, such as SSRI’s, can cause insomnia, however, others have a sedating effect. These include: Elavil, mirtazapine, trazodone and doxepin.

The antidepressant trazodone (Desyrel) also may help with insomnia. Over-the-counter sleep aids contain antihistamines that can induce drowsiness. They’re OK for occasional sleepless nights, but they, too, often lose their effectiveness the more you take them. Many sleeping pills contain diphenhydramine, which can cause difficulty urinating and a drowsy feeling in the daytime.

Yes. To rebalance sleep, try 100 mg of GABA around 7 pm. Most of us are deficient in this anyway. Or if you don’t want to try anything like that, just try Valarian Root or Melatonin which you can get at your grocery store. You might have better results with GABA becaue it is the chemical that tells your body to relax. You can get GABA at a health store.

To rebalance, consider this diet:
mostly: Vegetables, Fruits,

some: Sauteed Tempeh, Fish, Beans

some: squash, corn, quinoa (boil till soft)

little: brown rice

In today’s fast world, many, if not most people are just getting toolittle sleep and it is becoming a growing concern.

It has been estimated that one fourth to one half of all Americans get too little sleep. Sleep deprivation can cause many serious side effects, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heartdisease, and obesity.

In the United States alone, it is estimated that approximately 60 -80 million people have some form of sleep disorder. This numbercontinues to rise. Several of the reasons for the increasingnumbers are the aging of the American population, the change inour lifestyle and the obesity epidemic. Of course there are otherfactors that can lead to a sleep disorder, such as, stress, shiftwork, illness or genetics.
